The .NET Guy points to a list of the 100 best Science Fiction books (via Joe Gregorio, via Mark Paschal). Gimlé also compiled a list of those books in the Top 100 that can be found online.

I’ve read 27 of them and a couple others are on my reading list. Together, they represent countless hours of pure enjoyment in my life.

good list, but lacks the best book about telepathy ever made, “dying inside” by Robert Silverberg. It’s not very known but its amazing.

I have heard of this book, but never read it. Silverberg is a incredible writer, and anything I have read from him was excellent.

The list, of course, is not complete. For example, I think that The City and the Stars is one of the best science fiction books of all times, but it’s not on the list. As a personal list, however, it makes for wonderful reading.
